CALCINING SYSTEM OF MOLYBDENUM
1. Brief introduction to the processes of drying and calcining
Molybdenumoxide can be obtained by drying and calcining molybdenum concentrate. Our corporation has advanced technology, processes and production equipments. We have designed suitable exclusive equipments according to the characteristic of making molybdenum oxide by way of drying and calcining molybdenum concentrate to meet the different users.
The equipment designed and produced by our Co. have been run in Luanchuan Henan Province China and respond well.
The technology processes are as follows:
First we feed the molybdenum concentrate of different moisture content and coming from the different mineral processing plants to the special equipment SD dryer to make the moisture content of the concentrate the same. After drying and separating the gas and solid by the separator, the materials are lifted to the bunker and then screwed to calciner.

3. Equipments of drying and calcining molybdenum concentrate condition and end gas treatment
(1) Equipment of drying
1. Name of material molybdenum concentrate
2. Moisture content of materials 10～15%
3. Moisture content of material after drying 2% max.
4. Hour capacity 280 KG
5. Hot air furnace uses coal, oil, or coal gas, direct heating
6. inlet temperature of the dryer 280～300°C
7. The rate of collecting up 99.5%
(2) Equipment of calcining
1. Name of material molybdenum concentrate
2. Moisture content of materials 2% max
3. inlet temperature of the calciner 550～600°C
4. Hot air furnace uses coal, oil, or coal gas, direct heating
5. The rate of collecting up 99.5%
(3) End gas treatment
The end gas of the calciner is drafted to cyclone collector, spray washed, gas and water separated, drafted to absorbing liquid of alkali and let out last.
